Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and formulate relevant treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate mental health improvements.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their trauma and building essential coping skills.
\n
• Engage in frequent collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, facilitating immediate assistance as needed.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and enhance their understanding of coping mechanisms and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor, vital for effective client engagement.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
