This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to balance your professional life with personal commitments. The primary focus of this role is to deliver trauma-informed care, using both telehealth and in-person sessions, to support patients in Cedar Hill, Texas.

This role operates within a dynamic outpatient office setting, complemented by the option of remote work. Banyan Recovery recognizes the importance of a balanced work-life and fosters a collaborative atmosphere. Our hours of operation extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing ample flexibility to tailor your schedule according to personal and professional needs. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team focused on the integration of care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and acquiring healthy coping skills.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on improving trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment methodologies and trauma-related mental health disorders.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include guaranteed pay with annual increases, performance-based bonuses, paid orientation, and monthly professional development sessions.
