This remote position offers flexibility in your work schedule, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life effectively. Our organization operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, enabling you to choose the hours that work best for you. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banyan Recovery, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to meticulously evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify effective treatment approaches.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, with a strong emphasis on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients navigate their trauma experiences.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and stability of patients at critical moments.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources for their healing journey.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with the effects of trauma, which may include survivors of abuse, violence, natural disasters, or other distressing experiences. The patient population you will serve is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. By applying a strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, you will play a vital role in supporting their recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. Alongside a robust compensation package, you will benefit from:
