Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work setting, promoting flexibility and work-life balance for our team members. You will work primarily in an outpatient office environment while engaging with a motivated patient population. Our practice operates seven days a week, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule within our operational hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, facilitating a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere for both employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' history and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to facilitate trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, build coping mechanisms, and promote their healing journeys.
\n
• Collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure that each client receives integrated, holistic care.

• Responding to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities and participating in case consultations and team meetings to improve trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying updated with the latest research developments and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work primarily focuses on individuals and families who have experienced trauma, with a commitment to addressing the unique needs of each client. We welcome behavioral health generalists willing to work with couples, and we provide training to enhance your skillset in this area. Your approach will be rooted in compassion, integrity, and a focus on delivering quality care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a non-judgmental and empathetic counseling approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• A strong capability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and be adaptable to changing environments.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value a strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. Experience in utilizing trauma-focused therapies is also beneficial in providing effective care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, accompanied by guaranteed pay, annual increases, and bonus opportunities. Benefits include:
