Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, strengths, and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and optimizing therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Respond to crises with immediate intervention and support, helping clients navigate trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, in compliance with legal and ethical obligations.

• Engage in professional development and that includes participating in case consultations and team meetings focused on evidence-based trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
