Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and develop targeted treatment approaches.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care, coordinating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining composure and a strategic focus on patient stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with legal and ethical standards while upholding patient confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to stay current with trauma-informed care best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. We provide guaranteed pay, annual increases, and bonus opportunities.
