Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma histories and establish suitable treatment strategies.

• Craft and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience growth.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients to process their trauma, develop adaptive coping strategies, and enhance their overall healing experience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated, comprehensive care to clients.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide effective crisis intervention to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, helping them navigate challenges with additional resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards to ensure the privacy of client information.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance clinical skills.

As an LPCC at Blue Sphere Counseling LLC, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, couples, and families who are navigating the complex effects of trauma. Our practice emphasizes responsiveness to clients' unique backgrounds and experiences, ensuring culturally competent and individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of New Jersey.

• Basic familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing empathy and a non-judgmental approach to therapy.
