Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive diagnostic formulations.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions through evidence-based practices.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in alignment with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements and insurance standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Engage in regular peer consultations and case conferences to enhance clinical skills and support team development.

• Prioritize ethical standards and cultural humility in all clinical interactions, embodying our commitment to social justice.

• Utilize telehealth technologies to provide accessible and convenient care to clients, adjusting methods to fit their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population that includes adolescents, adults, and families, navigating various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid California licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in good standing.

• Registered with the BBS and eligible for independent practice.

• Completion of at least 6 semester units (or equivalent) of supervised experience in providing therapy services to couples and families, if you are seeking to provide these services.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations in a mental health setting.

• Proficiency in at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, trauma-informed care).

• Technologically adept and comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n
