Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Insight Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to delve into clients’ trauma histories and determine suitable treatment paths.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients through their trauma processing, develop effective coping strategies, and foster overall healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and various mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma reactions, coping techniques, and support resources available.

• Maintain complete and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to guarantee compliance.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care-enhancing practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in trauma therapy research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LPCC will have you predominantly working with individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders, including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety, and depression arising from prior traumatic experiences. You will have the opportunity to assist a diverse demographic of clients, including couples, which we actively support through additional training.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid LPCC license issued by the State of California.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Insight Therapy offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
