This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that suits both professional needs and personal commitments. The clinic operates with extended hours, from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, ensuring accessibility for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma backgrounds and determine effective therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall client wellbeing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, build resilient coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring all records meet legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care techniques.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele includes individuals and families grappling with trauma-related issues, ranging from PTSD to depression and anxiety stemming from traumatic experiences. The LPC will interact with a diverse patient population, ensuring the delivery of culturally competent care that respects and honors each client’s unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee is essential.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders along with proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies is needed.

• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other standard computer applications to facilitate documentation and communication.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the quality of care provided to our patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• While at least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, applicants with varied levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Experience using trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly desirable, particularly in individual and group settings.

• Behavioral Health Generalists who are open to counseling couples are especially welcome; training will be provided as needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
