Pay : $25 - $29 per hour

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a vital role in maintaining financial health by managing collections, resolving billing issues, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth cash flow. You'll work closely with the finance, customer service, sales, and shipping teams to keep our financial operations running seamlessly.


What You'll Do


As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:


• Managing collections by making professional calls to delinquent accounts and resolving billing disputes.
• Partnering with Customer Service, Sales, and Shipping to resolve shipping claims and process refunds.
• Reviewing customer statements and aging reports; investigating and reconciling unresolved receivables, including unapplied cash and deposits.
• Evaluating high-risk accounts and assisting in calculating quarterly reserves for doubtful accounts.
• Monitoring and ensuring accurate EDI billing for major accounts in collaboration with Customer Service and IT.
• Processing ledger adjustments, debit/credit memos, invoicing, and daily cash deposits.
• Supporting order management by reviewing and releasing credit-pending orders to ensure timely shipments.
• Assisting during audits and contributing to special finance projects.


What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:


• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working with EDI billing systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions diplomatically.
• A background in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Up to 10 years of experience, with a high school diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree or technical certification in Accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor Kinetic or similar software is a strong advantage.

This position is on-site in Fountain Valley and offers standard weekday hours.
