Compliance Analyst

Description The purpose of this position is to process and oversee the timely completion of identity verification and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment by Publix while maintaining compliance with the policies and practices of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), under the direction of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The purpose of this position is to process and oversee the timely completion of identity verification and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment by Publix while maintaining compliance with the policies and practices of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), under the direction of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Primary Responsibilities This position is responsible for maintaining compliance of all Employment Eligibility Verification forms (Form I-9) for all newly hired and rehired associates within Publix. This position is responsible for working with retail and support areas to conduct an E-Verify check using the information provided on Form I-9 as well as visual verification of the documents to validate both the identity of the associate and their employment authorization to work within the U.S. This position is responsible for maintaining updating and editing the correct citizenship status and work authorization dates in SAP. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
