This full-time role, based in the vibrant city of Buffalo, New York, offers the unique opportunity to practice remotely while engaging with clients at our outpatient office. Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be mostly remote, enabling you to work comfortably from home while also allowing for in-person client interactions at our outpatient facility as needed. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing optimal work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to identify their unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, setting the foundation for tailored mindfulness practices.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including various techniques and strategies from MBSR, to promote relaxation, emotional stability, and enhanced mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, integrating mindfulness practices that help clients navigate their mental health concerns, reduce anxiety, and increase resilience.

• Lead interactive group workshops on mindfulness, stress management, and coping strategies, fostering community support among participants.
\n
• Document client progress meticulously, including mindfulness interventions and treatment plans, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with best practices.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to provide a holistic treatment approach, enhancing the efficacy of our mindfulness programs.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice as well as professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest techniques and innovations in mindfulness therapy.

Our clients range widely in age and background, seeking support through various personal challenges, including anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proven proficiency in mindfulness-based practices is highly beneficial, allowing you to integrate these techniques into therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create a calming, supportive environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
