Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients, enabling them to effectively manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' stressors and mental health goals, customizing mindfulness practices that align with their individual needs.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques during therapy appointments, guiding clients towards increased self-awareness and emotional stability.

• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques for community members.

• Integrate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, effectively addressing a variety of mental health issues while promoting personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive treatment plan that may include mindfulness and other therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain accurate client records, documenting mindfulness interventions, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid New York state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
