AssemblerPosition SummaryAssemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions and specifications. Perform precision assembly using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment. Ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturing standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and subassemblies.Follow work instructions, assembly drawings, blueprints, and production documentation.Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately.Install components, wiring, fasteners, and casings using bolts, rivets, soldering, and micro-welding techniques.Clean parts, components, and finished assemblies using approved procedures and materials.Perform quality inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards.Identify and report defects, errors, or assembly issues.Maintain production equipment, tools, and workstations.Ensure adherence to safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Manufacturing experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly.Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Preferred SkillsExperience with HVAC systems, painting, electrical testing, and mechanical assembly.Familiarity with soldering and micro-welding processes.Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs continuously throughout the shift.Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Strong visual, hearing, and communication abilities to support quality and safety requirements.Work EnvironmentManufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.May work in a facility that is not climate-controlled.Fast-paced production setting with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.Available shifts:1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM3rd Shift: 7:00 PM 5:30 AMBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).Short-term and long-term disability coverage.Critical illness, accident, and life insurance.401(k) retirement plan with company match.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) with company match.Tuition reimbursement programs.Caregiver, personal, and parental leave.Back-up care services.Paid time off, including volunteer time.Employee wellness programs.Legal and identity theft protection benefits.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millington, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
