Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans based on the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' presenting symptoms, especially focusing on mood disorders.

• Implement evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients' emotional and behavioral challenges effectively.

• Facilitate education sessions for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care practices that promote overall mental wellness.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical specialists to ensure integrated care and effective management of clients' mental health conditions.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advances in mental health treatment.

• Uphold stringent confidentiality standards in maintaining client records, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines in all aspects of practice.

• Advocate for clients, working to reduce mental health stigma within the community and championing policies that promote mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Raven Mental and Counseling Center, you will primarily work with clients facing challenges in their interpersonal relationships, particularly during times of transition such as divorce. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping individuals and families navigate the emotional upheavals associated with relational conflicts, thus facilitating healthier, more resilient interpersonal dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• The candidate must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and therapeutic rapport with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A non-judgmental approach coupled with empathy and an understanding perspective when addressing clients' difficulties.

• Proficient organizational skills, enabling effective management of a diverse case load and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy.

• Familiarity with treating mood disorders and experience in handling complex cases involving family dynamics related to divorce.

Compensation and Benefits\n
