Urology Physician Assistant

Locums - Longview, Washington, NP/PA Urology Opening Start Date: ASAP Assignment Duration: 26 weeks FTE: 1.0 Schedule Details: Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8-hour shifts Reason for Coverage: Gap in coverage Practice Setting: Hospital and Clinic Working at: Medical Center Urology Clinic (approximately 1 mile away)

Both hospital and clinic privileges required. Patient Population: Ages 17+ Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day Responsibilities: Annual follow-up and medication refill visits Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction Evaluate and manage kidney stones Manage male incontinence Perform cystoscopies Standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room

If a surgical PA: Hospital rounding Surgical assisting

If a non-surgical PA: Clinic responsibilities only

Physician Assistants will work collaboratively with the supervising physician. Facility Details: 122-bed facility Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Procedures: Standard urology procedures in both the clinic and operating room EMR: EPIC Requirements: Active Washington License in hand at time of presentation - Required IMLC not currently accepted BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
