Lab Technician

Pay Rate $28.00/hour to $32.00/hour Hours Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm Duration One Year Location Irvine, CA

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of process experience
• Experience in lab hands on work and good at 5S
• Basic data summary and MS Office skill
• Good team player
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products word, excel and powerpoint.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
• Following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably chemical, mechanical, materials engineering
• Routine data generation based on Std test method.
• Support application engineer for data generation

Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or engineer, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
• Testing of adhesives not limited to paste or film
• Evaluate, collect and record data.
• Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results
• Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
