Location: Indianapolis, IN – Onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21.13/hr on W2

Role Summary

Client is looking for an Account Clerk with 5+ years of accounting/clerical experience to handle financial records, accounts payable, vouchers, budgeting, reporting, procurement, and customer service activities.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of bookkeeping/financial recordkeeping
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable / voucher processing
• 5+ years assisting with budget preparation and budget control
• 5+ years preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• 5+ years of procurement and contract knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to accurately handle money and financial records
• Must be eligible to be bonded
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure

• Main Responsibilities
• Maintain and verify financial records
• Process invoices, vouchers, payments, checks, and expenditures
• Review requisitions for accuracy, quantity, and pricing
• Assist with agency budgets
• Prepare financial reports
• Audit financial transactions
• Maintain vendor records
• Handle payments, money, and other valuables
• Support procurement and contracts
• Perform calculations and financial reconciliations
• Provide customer service and handle calls
• Work with vendors, agencies, contractors, and the general public
