Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the presence of co-occurring disorders and develop individualized treatment plans that honor each client’s specific needs.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment strategies, incorporating cognitive-behavioral techniques and trauma-informed care approaches, to effectively address addiction and mental health barriers.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focusing on topics such as coping mechanisms, stress management, and relapse prevention, while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans to maximize efficacy and support long-term recovery goals.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including social workers, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, addiction recovery, and the principles of resilience and self-advocacy.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards in healthcare.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working primarily with adults facing addiction issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
