Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to understand each client’s familial and individual needs.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, while also providing individual counseling as necessary.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address issues such as alcohol abuse, conflict resolution, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Documenting client interactions in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the effectiveness of care and support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with a variety of challenges such as job stress, medical issues, separation and divorce, blended families, and communication difficulties. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
