Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work flexibly while providing essential therapeutic services through telehealth platforms. While our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, we recognize that patient needs may require some flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Forward Steps Psychotherapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to create and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Applying a variety of therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to address clients' specific mental health concerns.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to optimize client care.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving service delivery and treatment outcomes.

• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources in the community.

• Staying informed about the latest research developments and best practices in the field of mental health to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will serve a diverse client base, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. By delivering personalized therapy, you will help clients build resilience and achieve sustainable improvement in their mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and an ability to customize treatment plans to address the unique needs of clients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering meaningful relationships with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
