Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing telehealth platforms, considering clients’ histories, presenting issues, and relevant risk factors.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on facilitating their recovery and emotional well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via video conferencing, empowering clients with effective coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.

• Work closely with other professionals, such as psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, including medication management when necessary.

• Respond to mental health crises remotely, employing de-escalation techniques and coordinating referrals for higher levels of care when required.

• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families to enhance understanding of mental health conditions and available support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies, ensuring continuity of care.

You will primarily be working with clients in a detox program, many of whom may be navigating various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals transition into a path of recovery, ensuring they feel supported as they tackle the challenges of substance use and mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
