Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions in line with the treatment plans developed by the multidisciplinary team.

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed under the supervision of a lead clinician.

• Documenting patient interactions and progress notes promptly, ensuring they adhere to departmental standards for accuracy and clarity.

• Providing orientation to new patients and families, ensuring a smooth integration into our services.

• Engaging in crisis management, assessing any emergent needs, and implementing intervention strategies when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A current independent license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state of California; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Strong assessment skills to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a genuine empathy for patients and their families.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n
