Epic Referrals Analyst

Epic Referrals & Authorizations ConsultantClient is seeking an experienced Epic Referrals & Authorizations Consultant to support a large-scale optimization initiative impacting 70 clinics. This role will focus on redesigning and optimizing referral workflows, authorizations, and Epic Work Queues (WQ) to improve operational efficiency and user experience.Required QualificationsEpic Referrals Certification (Required)Epic RTE OR RTA Certificaiton (Required)Proven experience supporting Epic Referrals and Authorizations in a healthcare provider environmentStrong Work Queue (WQ) design, optimization, and management experienceExperience conducting workflow assessments and leading optimization initiativesHands-on Epic build and configuration experienceStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsEpic Prelude CertificationEpic Cadence CertificationExperience with Epic Foundation design and optimization methodologiesRevenue cycle and operational workflow optimization experienceKey ResponsibilitiesAssess and optimize referral and authorization workflowsDesign, build, and configure Epic Referrals, Authorizations, and Work QueuesLead workflow discovery and future-state design sessionsSupport testing, validation, issue resolution, and user adoption activitiesCollaborate with operational leaders, analysts, and project stakeholdersTrack optimization outcomes and support upgrade-related activitiesThis is an excellent opportunity to serve as a trusted Epic advisor on a high-visibility optimization project while helping improve referral operations across a large healthcare organization.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85.00 - $90.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
