divh2Key Account Manager - Chicago/h2pThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for selling Canon Medicals imaging solutions within the territory and is supported by sales specialists (RBMs), customer service and customer applications. The Key Account Manager serves as the main point of contact to interface with customers and prospects within a defined sales territory. The Key Account Manager will be evaluated on sales volume/revenue and will help to drive the Sales Regions business targets. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining current Canon customers and developing new customers within competitive Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts./ppThis is a remote, field based position. The preferred candidate should reside within the Chicago Metropolitan area. Pay Information: $110,000 base plus Target incentive./pulliThe Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining a strategic plan for each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer in their account list./liliEnsure sales objectives are realized through exercising sales skills and abilities combined with knowledge of the product, territory, and customer to ensure sales objectives are realized./liliMaintain regular contact with customers to identify future sales needs and ensure existing service requirements are being met./liliEvaluate and adequately call on all customer accounts within assigned territory and effectively identify new account opportunities./liliMaintain constant awareness of sales opportunities and develop effective relationships and contact with key individuals within customer accounts. Ensure access and influence within customer accounts./liliDevelop and implement market penetration strategies that will increase sales. Leverage competitive analysis and market research to develop sales strategies that will ensure sales success in the assigned sales territory./liliUpdate prospective sales opportunities and contacts using the appropriate CMSU automated sales tools./liliEnsure that company sales tools are regularly updated to accurately reflect territory coverage and customer call activity./liliDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees, and managerial staff./liliDevelop accurate and reliable forecasts./liliAssist in the coordination of site visits./liliProvide effective resolution to problems that may arise to effectively close sales opportunities./liliMaintain knowledge of the impact of other factors affecting the business equation./liliPerform administrative functions in an efficient and cost-effective manner./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliEffective written, verbal, and presentation skills./liliStrong proficiency in computer skills, MS Office./liliProven experience in consultative in selling approach and experience developing and closing large contracts./liliExperience with long sales cycles./liliMust have experience working with sales quotas, forecasting./liliKnowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systems applications./liliA valid and current state drivers license is required./lili4 Year Bachelors Degree or Equivalent work experience in lieu of degree./lili5 years prior sales experience within the medical imaging field or related field./lili7 years Previous diagnostic imaging experience preferred./liliPrevious medical device or capital sales experience into the following departments preferred; radiology, cardiology, interventional radiology, cath-lab or oncology./liliPay Information: $110,000 base plus Target incentive./li/ulpCanon Medical Systems USA, Inc., a world leader in diagnostic imaging, is in search of qualified candidates to fill our open positions.
