Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote working environment, allowing you to collaborate with school administrators, educators, and support staff while having the flexibility to manage your schedule. You will engage with students and families through virtual platforms, greatly enhancing access to mental health services and ensuring consistent support tailored to individual needs. Although the primary work is remote, you may occasionally attend school events or parent meetings during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

• Utilize observational techniques, interviews, and standardized assessments to determine mental health needs of students.
\n
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions focusing on various topics, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches for short-term and ongoing individual counseling.
\n
• Facilitate group counseling addressing critical issues like bullying prevention, stress management, and the development of essential social skills.
\n
• Collaborate with school staff and families to devise intervention strategies that promote positive behavioral outcomes and academic success.
\n
• Support students in transitioning to different educational settings, aiding family referrals to community resources as necessary.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and the creation of safety plans, to students in need.
\n
• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and sessions for students, parents, and educational staff, enhancing community understanding of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges that affect their school experiences. You will work closely with children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues, supporting their resilience and personal development, while fostering a stable and supportive educational environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development along with familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and educational background. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our team.
