Work Environment\n

This full-time position will be conducted remotely, primarily focusing on our partnered private school in Woodbridge, New Jersey. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed to ensure that our mental health services are readily available to our students. Your role may require you to be on-call during times of crisis or emergency, further showcasing your commitment to student care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, which will involve careful consideration of their personal history, presenting issues, and any potential risks to their well-being.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, emphasizing mental health improvement and successful reintegration into the school setting.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on fostering personal development, enhancing emotional regulation, and teaching effective coping strategies.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure an integrated approach to student care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention, employing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals for students requiring higher levels of care.

• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions and support available resources, empowering them with the knowledge to take control of their mental health.

• Maintain precise and compliant documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and relevant communications while adhering to the legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage regularly in multidisciplinary team meetings to share expertise, coordinate care, and collaborate on best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in New Jersey is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
