Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular progress reviews with clients, addressing their stability and planning for upcoming appointments, including discharging clients when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes for each client in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to understand each client's mental health history and needs.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions weekly, tailoring interventions to support clients' goals and enhance their personal growth.

• Engage in regular individual supervision to reflect on practices and foster professional development.

• Cooperate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Proficient in using computer software applications, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy.

• Experienced in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with an emphasis on tailored treatment strategies.

• Familiar with conducting intake assessments proficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Although not required, candidates with additional specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or family therapy will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications. Elmira Counseling Services utilizes a fee-for-service model, providing guaranteed rates paid in advance of collections, allowing our clinicians to focus on therapy without financial stress.
