Restoration Assistant Project Manager – Cotton Holdings Inc. Department: Restoration Location: New York, NY Compensation: $35.00 / hour Summary (Scope of the Job) Assist with the direction and coordination of a project, including performance, administration, documentation, and customer contact. Communicate with the PM daily on the project to ensure a smooth operation. Adhere to company protocols, project policies, accounting procedures, and maintain high service quality standards. Key Responsibilities Communicate with operations daily to ensure projects run smoothly. Keep customers and insurance adjusters up to date on all project activities; adhere to company protocols, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc. Ensure the service quality meets the company’s highest standards. Maintain a project budget to ensure profitability. Perform work within a given budget or communicate the job from beginning to end. Assist in developing a Site Safety Plan for the Field Supervisor and labor. Keep client and adjuster informed to promote good customer service. Ensure job files have properly signed contracts and required forms. Process files promptly to ensure accurate accounting. Complete/draft Project Management Reviews daily for the job file. Conduct Safety Toolbox meetings. Participate in safety investigations to minimize risk. Provide feedback to Operations and Project Managers regarding individual jobs as needed. Maintain open communication and networking with adjusters, insurance community, and assigned target businesses. Maintain the highest integrity to ensure Cotton’s image is viewed positively. Hire subcontractors and suppliers. Direct daily activities on restoration projects. Meet client and adjuster needs and requests. Resolve conflicts with customers. Manage operation staff performance and change of scope. Understand workflow procedures and systems. Background Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Experience: Restoration project knowledge REQUIRED. IICRC Certified – PREFERRED. OSHA 10 or 30‑hour a plus. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of workflow procedures and systems. Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus. Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office applications. Proven organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships. Ability to travel as business needs arise – REQUIRED. Good driving record: minimum of 21 years of age, 3 years verifiable driving experience, no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no repeat seat belt violations, no high‑speed moving violations.
