Description - Your Role and Impact

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory analyses, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, using well-established procedures.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, while ensuring your lab instruments are maintained and calibrated appropriately.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing when necessary.
• Document all actions in compliance with industry standards, mentor new staff or interns, and assist in maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field, complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required to be obtained within a year post-hire.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
