Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg/Tele RN

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively
• Participate in Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Maintain and manage peripheral lines
• Administer oxygen through various methods including nasal cannula and oxygen tanks
• Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Requirements of the Med Surg/Tele RN

• New York State RN License
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Tele experience within the past year
• Competency in dysrhythmias interpretation and management
