Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to understand their individual needs, ensuring proper diagnosis and care.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that consider each client’s developmental stage, cultural background, and family dynamics.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in weekly team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry, integrating new insights into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents who are navigating the complexities of mental health challenges. By addressing the specific needs of this population, you will play a critical role in helping young individuals cultivate resilience, improve coping strategies, and achieve optimal mental health outcomes through individualized and family-centered care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably focusing on child and adolescent clients.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with effective therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and family therapy.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect effectively with children, adolescents, and their families during therapy.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as common office software applications.

• A collaborative approach and a commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
