This position is uniquely structured to be remote, with therapists able to deliver services from the comfort of their homes while having direct access to a supportive outpatient office team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual treatment sessions, providing therapy in clients' homes or via telehealth, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for the families you serve.

• Implement specialized therapeutic interventions that focus on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development to address self-injurious behaviors or physical aggression.

• Enhance decision-making skills within adolescents and caregivers, equipping them with the tools necessary to manage behavioral challenges in a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and various specialists, contributing insights and strategies to enhance comprehensive care.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to our organization's standards of practice.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings to provide updates, share best practices, and recommend improvements in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who exhibit developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, particularly those facing cognitive challenges, allowing you to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs. Your involvement will not only support the individual child but also contribute to improving overall family dynamics and support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Pennsylvania is essential.

• A minimum commitment of 5-10 hours during after-school hours (4-7 PM) weekly is required, with weekend availability considered advantageous.

• Proficiency in bilingual therapy, particularly in Spanish or Portuguese, is highly desirable.

• Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a registered vehicle for travel when client meetings are conducted in their homes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
