Senior Research Statistician - Oncology (Hybrid)
AbbVie
Senior Research Statistician role supporting oncology drug development at AbbVie. Provides statistical expertise for clinical trials, safety analyses, and medical affairs studies in a hybrid position based in South San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and report clinical trials and scientific research studies
- Develop protocols and statistical analysis plans with programming implementation details
- Execute statistical analyses following analysis plans and collaborate with programming teams
- Prepare data presentations and ensure accurate interpretation of statistical findings in reports and publications
- Work with cross-functional teams to communicate statistical concepts and support product development initiatives
Requirements
- MS with 4+ years experience or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field
- Proficiency in R and SAS programming
- Experience with statistical computations and simulations
- Clinical trials statistics background preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to identify analytical issues and collaborate across functions
