Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining the high standards of care our clients expect. You will have access to a robust outpatient office environment for client consultations, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists and healthcare providers, fostering seamless communication and support throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through preliminary interviews and comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups to address specific mental health concerns.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and make adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.

• Keep detailed records of client interactions and treatments using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
\n
• Assist in managing referrals and following up on treatment effectiveness, working closely with clients transitioning to or from inpatient facilities.

• Support family members and caretakers in understanding and managing mental health challenges that affect their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. You will engage with both adolescents and adults, providing compassionate care tailored to their unique experiences and needs, while respecting cultural and personal perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate therapeutic concepts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic nature, crucial for building trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a strong background in delivering psychotherapy and counseling services.

• Familiarity with addiction disorders and underlying physical and emotional health conditions.

• Experience in using electronic health record systems, specifically with AVATAR or comparable platforms.

• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and awareness of prescribed drug effects.

Compensation and Benefits\n
