Job Title: Entry-Level Accountant Assistant Company: Confidential Location: EastRutherford, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $24/Hour (entry-level rate; open to candidates with no experience or certifications) About the Role A growing business services company is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Accountant Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations. We value attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn—more than prior experience or certifications. Responsibilities Assist with daily bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance Process invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies Assist with year-end closing and audit preparation Learn and adapt to accounting software such as QuickBooks (training available) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or related field preferred, but not required ) No prior accounting experience are not required— recent grads welcome Familiarity with bookkeeping concepts or accounting principles a plus Experience with QuickBooks or similar platforms is a plus (not required) Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy Comfortable working independently and in a small team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr joinhandshake.com - Jobboard
