Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation modalities aimed at improving mobility and alleviating pain.
• Regularly document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery and attainment of therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity in treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, wellness strategies, and the correct use of assistive devices to support recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and participation in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid state license to practice in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
