This is an opportunity to grow and develop your maritime litigation practice at the premier one of the pre-eminent litigation firms in the country.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day handling of maritime cases.Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law.Guide plaintiff clients through the case processInteraction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavitsAttendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffsQualificationsLaw degree (Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law schoolAn active member in good standing with the Florida BarIdeally 4+ years of PI litigation experience (ideally maritime)Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases and take them to trialExcellent client service and communication skillsSelf-starter driven by long-term career goalsSuperior writing and oral advocacy skillsBenefitsMorgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
