Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
- Adaptability and a positive, student-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction following individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess students’ abilities and track progress throughout the school year.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
- Modify curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual student goals.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Engage in regular communication with families and guardians regarding student development.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements.
