We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our established orthopedic outpatient clinic, Up And Running Physical Health Therapy, located in Paramus, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing you to directly engage with patients in a hands-on role. The clinic operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize advanced hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to encourage independence and foster a proactive approach to health.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes to adapt therapy plans as necessary and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and enhance the collective knowledge and skills of the therapeutic team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Up And Running, our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with diverse patients of all ages, each with unique needs, guiding them through their rehabilitation journeys and helping them achieve optimal mobility and function.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Current and active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with evidence-based practices.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting is a plus, as it will enhance your understanding of delivering therapy in a non-clinical environment.
• Previous involvement in patient education workshops or community outreach programs is favorable.
• A history of utilizing innovative therapy technologies or techniques that could benefit individualized patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
