Accounting Technician Lead

Job Description

Performs routine to complex accounting functions following established standards and guidelines. Applies advanced skills to accomplish tasks within assigned functional area. May direct the work of subordinates in the absence of the supervisor.

Location: HQ Dallas, Texas (on-site)
Remote/Telework not authorized per Presidential Memorandum "Return to In Person Work".
Candidates eligible for the Military Spouse Exemption may be considered for remote work.
Alternate authorized onsite duty location may be determined following selection.

Job Qualifications

Two years of accounting experience. Prior experience or aptitude to master various financial systems is required.

Or

Bachelors degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field.

Major Duties

Performs a variety of accounting functions including posting information and balances in general or subsidiary ledgers.
Assists and provides input and recommendations to managers to resolve accounting issues. Contributes to the development, documentation, and improvement of accounting processes.
Responds to escalated accounting inquiries from internal/external customers.
Provides guidance and training to new and junior-level technicians.
Performs other duties as assigned.
