Job Description

• Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored treatment strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ researched methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing teams to assure comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques for continued progress at home
• Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on target

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Opportunities for continuing education or post-graduate certifications strongly encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
