• Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience in adult surgical/medical ICU

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality care to adult ICU patients with diagnoses including STEMI, DKA, respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, renal failure, neuro conditions, and general surgical cases
• Manage ventilators, assist with intubation and extubation, and operate CVLs, EVD drains, and other critical care equipment
• Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, and manage arterial lines and other invasive devices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, RT, PICC team, and hospitalists
• Follow ICU protocols for patient monitoring and support complex care needs

What You Need:

• Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility to practice
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in adult surgical/medical units
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Strong skills in ventilator management, stroke care, vasoactive medication titration, and invasive line management
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start date
• Flexible and able to float to PCU or MedSurg units when necessary
