Supporting the monthly close cycle, the full-time remote Accountant will assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records while collaborating closely with senior finance team members. Key responsibilities Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries Perform account reconciliations and flag discrepancies for timely resolution Help maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent practical experience 0-2 years of accounting experience; internship or coursework in accounting is welcome Foundational understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic data entry and reconciliation tasks Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes
