Staff Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Dane County area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, organized, and adaptable. This company offers a hard-working team, collaborative culture, and room for professional growth & development. This position is hybrid.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and related audit deliverables.
- Assist in documenting and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to supervisors.
- Utilize firm resources to optimize engagement outcomes.
- Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Participate in firm activities such as office operations, recruiting efforts, and professional development initiatives.
- Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
- 1+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Minimal travel required.
