Assistant Property Manager (commercial properties) Category: Professional Location: Schaumburg, IL 60173 Pay: $80,000.00 Annually Posted: 1 day ago Status: Open Description Assistant Property Manager (commercial properties) Assistant Property Manager role at real estate investment and management firm. Position sits in office in Schaumburg and will join a small team to manage a 2 million sq. ft. portfolio of industrial and office properties. $80K base + annual bonus potential + strong benefits. Strong benefits package Assistant Property Manager (commercial properties) Details: $80,000.00 / annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Provide support to Property Manager and ROM as needed. Coordinates building access to brokers, tenants and vendors Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with tenants and vendors. On call for fire alarms and other property emergencies Oversee service contracts, purchase orders, and work authorizations Review and approve of property accounts payable invoices, and follow up on vendor payment issues as they arise Will be expected to actively find ways to reduce operating expenses while striving to increase the quality of service we provide tenants Will be responsible for ensuring code compliance and proper equipment maintenance for all properties Actively participate in operations meetings Coordinate customer move-ins and move-outs Coordinate tenant appreciation events annually at all properties Prepares quarterly financial reports (such as accruals and variance reports) Assist with CAM reconciliations Prepares license agreements, approval memos, and legal notices (such as 3 day notices) Will complete a variety of accounts receivable functions, such as delinquency calls and letters, payable applications, and delinquency notes Assists in quarterly reforecast of property budgets Assists in reviewing monthly tenant billings to ensure accuracy and be able to field tenant questions regarding billings and cash applications Assistant Property Manager (commercial properties) Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Assistant Property Manager MUST HAVE experience with commercial properties / real estate Must be proficient with word processing & spreadsheet software (Word and Excel) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr Elwood Staffing Services
