Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to ascertain the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring approaches to each client's needs.

• Educate clients and their families on management strategies for mood disorders, providing resources for self-care and wellness.
\n
• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional training to enhance skills and contribute to team knowledge.

• Advocate for the needs of clients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also support vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring that they receive compassionate care tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
