Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. Our outpatient office setting ensures that you can provide therapy in a flexible manner while utilizing cutting-edge telehealth platforms that are HIPAA compliant. You will also be supported by a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) system that facilitates the necessary compliance for insurance claims, including Medicaid and Medicare.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling to clients, focusing on their mental health treatment goals and maintaining their confidentiality and safety.

• Manage treatment programs designed to address various issues, including mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses.

• Utilize our EHR system to document client progress, treatment plans, and sessions promptly and accurately.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as necessary to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

• Conduct periodic assessments to track client progress and adjust treatment methodologies as needed.

• Support clients in navigating their external resources, ensuring they are well-informed of the services available to them.

• Create and implement effective coping strategies for clients to manage their symptoms successfully.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Evans Mental Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling.

• Proficient in utilizing technology for remote work, including telehealth platforms, and must have a reliable computer with internet access.

• Strong ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
\n
• Must successfully pass a background check.
\n
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings, to accommodate client schedules.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is required, we welcome candidates with three years or more of mental health counseling experience who have worked in private practice or outpatient settings. Additional certifications or specialties in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance use disorders would be highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
