Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, identifying strengths and areas of need to inform treatment planning.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for both patients and families, tailoring therapeutic approaches based on specific client needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Manage and complete essential administrative tasks including billing, documentation, and the development of individualized treatment plans in a timely manner.
\n
• Develop crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to assist patients in maintaining stable and healthy functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that prepare patients for successful transitions post-therapy.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal and state mental health laws, as well as adherence to NEHS policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, education, and participation in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Fulfill all requirements for licensure renewal and mandatory training programs.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients who span various demographics and backgrounds. You will help provide support for individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders, among others. Understanding and accommodating cultural sensitivities is paramount to effectively addressing and meeting the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies you for licensure.

• Current licensure in the State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to facilitate efficient patient management and documentation is a plus.

• Previous experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
